What are Micro spicules?

Micro spicules are tiny, highly purified, microscopic needle-like structures that come from sea sponge.

They are made from natural minerals and are so small you can’t see them with the naked eye.

Much like microneedling, the tiny needles penetrate the skin, creating little channels that allow active ingredients to penetrate and absorb more efficiently. They allow ingredients like peptides or other active ingredients to absorb far more effectively—in some cases up to 60 times more than if you simply applied the product alone”

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS

 

A thorough consultation must be performed before the AMIKO procedure to check for any

contraindications such as:

• Allergies,
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding,
• Cancer,
• Blood disorders (e.g., Hepatitis, HIV),
• Autoimmune disorders,
• Diabetes,

 

Do not use on patients/clients with allergies to:

• Aspirin/salicylates, VIT A

Precautions include:

• Cold sores.
• Burns.
• History of abnormal scarring, including keloids or hypertrophic scars.

 

Medications to disclose:

• Antibiotics.
• Natural remedies (e.g., St John’s Wort).
• Contraceptives.
• Roaccutane.
• Topical steroids.

 

PRE- AND POST-TREATMENT GUIDELINES

 

Avoid Before Treatment:

• Exfoliating agents: 48 hours prior.
• AHA’s, BHA’s, Retinol, Self-Tanner: 7 days prior.
• Waxing, hair removal, or bleaching: 7 days prior.
• Notify the provider of cold sores within 14 days prior.

 

Avoid After Treatment:

• Non-mineral makeup: 12 hours after.
• AHA’s, BHA’s, Retinol: 14 days after.
• Intense exercise or heat treatments: 48 hours after.
• Waxing, hair removal, or bleaching: 14 days after.
• Sunbeds, saunas, self-tanner: 14 days after.

 

Protocol of use:

 

Recommended treatments intervals:

Topical application with no needle device 7-10 days, Microneeding procedure using AMiKO perfecta -every 14 days. Microneedling depth 0.5 – 1 mm

Cleanse the skin

Apply Amiko Pre treatment gel for 10 min

Remove with water

Dry the skin with tissue or clean towel

Apply 2 ml of AMiKO PERFECTA to the dry clean skin

Apply using no needle mesotherapy, microneedling  or manual massage

After the product was absorbed , apply post treatment Auric cream and Amiko spf

Day 1 – AMiKO  Perfecta – topical treatment , or microneedling  protocol 0.5 mm

Day 8 – AMiKO Perfecta – Topical treatment , or microneedling protocol 0.5 mm

Day 43 – AMiKO CMCA PEEL

Day 50 – AMiKO PERFECTA – topical treatment , or microneedling  protocol 0.5 mm
