HIFU utilises ultrasound energy to tighten the skin and reduce unwanted facial fats in certain areas. Ultrasound is an energy modality that focuses and penetrates deep into the skin layers, causing thermal (heat) coagulation.
The ultrasound used in HIFU procedures is similar to ultrasound scans in medical clinics or hospitals. However, instead of scanning a broad area, ultrasound energy in HIFU treatments focuses and converges onto a small focal point in the skin.
This results in increased temperatures on the focal point, creating tissue coagulation to stimulate collagen production and targeted fat reduction. There is no damage to the surrounding skin or tissue except only at the focal point.
As a result, HIFU treatments can target deep skin layers to cause tightening and lift the face without needles or surgery. Here’s an important point to note. The best results are seen at 12 weeks post-treatment as collagen production and skin tightening take time.
Which areas can a HIFU treatment target?
Full face lift (overall tightening) 3 mm
V-shape face lift 4.5 mm cartridge ( work focused only on the connective tissue points)

Liften S achieves a temperature range of 60-70 degrees under the skin due to smaller heat concentration.
Number of treatments:
3 mm – 46 sessions every 2 weeks can ne repeated after 4 months or continued as 1treatment per month
4.5 mm – one session every 2-3 months

Combination Protocols:
Biorepeelcl3/ AMiKO CMCA PEEL – can be performed after Liften S treatment- please wait for the skin to cool down ( aprox 10 min) before peel application.
Microneedling can be performed on the same session – on the settings 0.25-0.5 max depth.
Mesotherapy – Skin Boosters treatment can be performed on the same day – after Liften S treatment .
The whole treatment takes approximately 15 min.
Time per treatment is not measured in minutes but the number of impulses per treatment area.
EG: Cheeks 300 impulses on each side setting 3 ( for very thin dehydrated skin setting 2)
Neck 150 each side – avoid trachea region. ( middle part of the neck)
Lip area 150 – 200 impulses ( around lips ) setting 2 or 3
Clients do not have to change home skin care before Liften S procedure. – no special precautions.
