To reconstitute lyophilized NAD+ 500 mg, please follow these instructions:
Gather the necessary materials:
Lyophilized NAD+ vial (500 mg)
Sterile water for injection or saline 0.9%
Syringe and needle
Alcohol swabs
500 ml 0.9 sodium chloride IV bag (optional)
Prepare your working area:
Ensure that your work area is clean and free from contaminants.
Wash your hands thoroughly or use gloves to maintain sterility.
Prepare the lyophilized NAD+ vial:
Inspect the lyophilized NAD+ vial for any signs of damage or contamination. Do not use the vial if it appears
compromised.
Flip off the plastic cap, then wipe the top of the vial with an alcohol swab to disinfect the surface.
Reconstitute the lyophilized NAD+:
Draw up 5 ml of sterile water or saline into the syringe.
Slowly inject the sterile water into the lyophilized NAD+ vial, aiming for the side of the vial to minimize
foaming.
Swirl the vial gently to aid in the dissolution of the lyophilized powder. Avoid excessive agitation to prevent
degradation of the product.
Inspect the reconstituted solution:
Wait until the lyophilized NAD+ has dissolved completely, inspect the solution for any particulate matter.
If you need to transfer the reconstituted NAD+ solution to a different container for storage, ensure that
the container is sterile and suitable for storage.
To prepare the solution for IV administration:
Draw up the contents of the vial and add it to an 500 ml 0.9% saline bag for IV using the port on the IV bag.
